"Humanity is the best religion. Kindness is the highest practice." — Mohanji
Mohanji Foundation exists to raise awareness from selfishness to selflessness — to awaken kindness as a way of life.
Not a feeling, but a practice. Meet every moment, every being, with compassion — beginning with yourself.
Non-violence in thought, word and action — including food, choices, how we walk upon the earth. A plant-based, cruelty-free life is a natural expression.
Food for all. Disaster relief. Dignity for the poor. We serve beyond nationality, race, religion or species — because there are no others.
No doctrine. No prescribed path. We offer what we have learned, and you take only what resonates. Your journey is yours to walk.
You're welcome. Take your time — something will call to you.
Born in Kerala, India. Two decades in international shipping across Dubai, the Middle East and Africa — all the while walking, in parallel, with the saints and masters of India's living traditions. In 2002, the loss of his daughter Ammu became the turning point. Grief transmuted into Ammucare, founded in her name in 2007. He began teaching publicly in 2012. In 2016, lineage elders conferred upon him the title of Brahmarishi — the highest spiritual recognition in the Vedic tradition, reserved for sages of profound realisation.
"The fundamental of Raja Yoga is that the path is about self-connection. And through this, you can have self-actualisation."
Mohanji walks the path of Raja Yoga — the path of self-connection. From his constancy, much has grown across the world: practices that quiet the mind, gatherings that hold the heart, movements that feed the hungry. Many shelters, one source.
No doctrine. No initiation. No fees to begin. He doesn't ask for devotion — he asks you to find yourself. The meditations are freely given. The family freely held. A pillar of constancy, in a world of changing emotions.
